Residential
Villa and home lifts
for private residences
Compact shafts, machine-room-less designs and cabin finishes specified one house at a time — for villas and private residences across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and the wider UAE.
Why it is a different job
A villa lift
is a design decision
A lift in an apartment building is engineering. A lift in a house is engineering and interior design at the same time — and the constraints are the opposite of a tower.
The shaft does not exist yet, or barely does. In a tower the shaft is drawn by the structural engineer and everything is built around it. In a villa, the lift has to fit into a home that is already designed around how the family lives — a staircase void, a corner of the majlis, a space reclaimed between two floors.
No plant room. A machine-room-less design puts the drive inside the shaft and frees the space above, which in a house is a room you were going to use for something else. It is usually the difference between a lift fitting the plan and the plan being redrawn.
It will be seen every day. In a tower, almost nobody looks at the lift car until they are inside it. In a villa, the lift is part of the interior — its doors, its frame and its cabin sit in the same sightline as the joinery and the stone. Which means it is specified with the client, from the full catalogue, not chosen from a list of three standard finishes.
And it must be quiet. A lift that announces itself is a lift that will not be used at night. Ride quality and door noise matter more in a home than in any commercial building.
What we cover
Four types,
one catalogue
- 01
Villa lifts
Standard or bespoke equipment sized to the house, with landing doors finished to match the surrounding joinery or stone.
- 02
Home elevators
Compact platforms and cabin lifts for residences where the available footprint is the binding constraint.
- 03
Panoramic and glass cars
Glass cars and scenic shafts for stairwells, atriums and façades — the option that turns the lift into a feature of the house.
- 04
Accessibility and platform lifts
Wheelchair and platform lifts where the requirement is access rather than a full passenger car.
Cabins are built to order. Ceiling, wall, handrail and floor finishes are specified with the client from the full catalogue — stainless steel, mirror and etched finishes, wood veneers, stone and marble, glass and integrated LED lighting.
Where we install them
Villas across
the emirates
The same directly employed team installs and then maintains the lift — so the people who built it are the people who look after it.
