Who we are in Dubai
Dubai builds upwards. Office towers, hotel towers and residential towers — and behind them, the villas and low-rise buildings that make up most of the city. Every lift in every one of them has to be chosen properly, installed to standard, serviced on schedule, and modernised before it turns from an asset into a liability.
Al Jar International Elevators is registered in Dubai under trade licence 503282 and holds a current Civil Defence certificate. We have supplied, installed, serviced or modernised lifts and escalators in the emirate since 1998 — 58 documented project references and 90 units on our own records.
Our engineers and technicians are directly employed, not subcontracted. That is not a slogan. It is what keeps installation quality and response times under our control, and it is why a maintenance contract with Al Jar reads the same in year five as it did in year one.
What we do in Dubai
From the first feasibility study on a new tower to the last maintenance visit of a lift's service life.
Equipment choice drives lifetime cost. On a Dubai tower that decision is made early, with the developer and the MEP consultant — and it is very expensive to revisit later. We help clients get it right the first time, from a second opinion to complete project management.
Standard or fully bespoke equipment, with transport, temporary works assessment, off-site build, testing and commissioning. We work alongside main contractors across Dubai on new build and fit-out schedules.
Planned preventive maintenance tailored to each unit, written feedback after every visit, genuine spare parts and 24/7 call-out across the emirate. Coastal sites — Jumeirah, Marina, Deira — need shorter intervals than inland buildings, and we set them accordingly.
Lifts are built to last twenty years or more, but safety expectations move on. We upgrade safety, appearance, functionality and service life to current requirements — often without replacing the whole installation.
